My Take on Jessica’s Lemonade

This is the *best* lemonade I have ever had. If you like lemonade… heck even if you don’t like it you must make this recipe! Here is the original recipe from Jessica’s recipe blog:

Ingredients:

3 unwaxed lemons, quartered
3/4 cup sugar
6 1/4 cups water
lemon slices and ice, to serve

Directions:

1. Place the quartered lemons, the sugar and part of the water in a blender or food processor. Blend for a few seconds until the lemons are finely chopped.

2. Pour the mixture through a strainer into your serving jug. Add the remaining water and stir well. Add ice cubes and lemon slices for serving.

What I did: We use 4 lemons and 1 cup of sugar in the food processor. To that I added 7 or 8 hulled strawberries. After blending, instead of using a fine strainer I use my tupperware one with bigger holes so that some of the pulp comes through. SO yummy! We have also tried it with watermelon and raspberries and both were delicious!
